Cannock Photographic Society

One of the leading Photographic Societies in the Midlands, if not in the UK.  Meetings held every Thursday at the Mill Street Methodist Church Hall, Mill Street, Cannock (opposite to Morrisons} - 7.45 pm start prompt, September to May. My home Club for over 20 years.

Nigel Turner

Many of the images of the South western United States on this site were taken on Nigel Turner Landscape Photography Holiday Workshops. For the photographer who wants to visit and record some of the most stunning landscapes to be found on this earth one of Nigel's Holiday Workshops is a must, where the only decision that needs to be made is where to point the lens - everything else being arranged and taken care of by Nigel. Four of my last seven trips to the South western United States have been with Nigel.

Eyecon

Eyecon is a group of photographers with diverse styles and interests, each committed to the realization of their own creative and artistic potential through the medium of photography. The group was formed in 1996 by Dr Adi Sethna FRPS AFIAP to fill a vacuum in photography at Club level, namely the general lack of any forum for the sharing of creative ideas and techniques and the critical discussion of new work. The skills of the individual members encompass fine art monochrome and colour printing, digital imaging and colour slide work, and are used to produce a wide range of images including landscapes, still life, portrait, figure studies and natural history together with some of the ‘leading edge’ images produced by computer manipulation techniques. The strength of the group lies in its diversity and all Eyecon members are regular and successful exhibitors in National and International exhibitions in the UK and around the World.

Clive R Haynes FRPS

During Clive's 35 years in photography, he has produced numerous audio-visual presentations, worked with traditional darkroom chemicals, explored 'alternative' methods, utilised toning & hand-tinting and even made prints without the aid of a camera!  Now Clive uses Digital Imaging as his primary method of image making and reproduction.

Clive has always sought to share the joy and excitement of photography and picture making with a wide audience.  He shares his knowledge openly and certainly does not believe in 'keeping secrets'.

Clive has an extensive website which includes galleries, photo/digital course information, informative 'Know-How' pages and historical information about his home town of Worcester (UK).
